We are “photoactive” when it comes to capturing your images! Chuck, owner and photographer of PhotoActive Photography, is a master of “chasing the light” and will create the most electric, memorable, and artistic imagery for his clients.

PhotoActive is the fusion of photography and graphics artistry! A Tampa Bay area based photography business, PhotoActive offers stylized, professional, and value-oriented wedding photography, commercial, portrait, modeling, and special event photography services. We can provide in-studio or on-location photosessions. We also have a “mobile studio” option with professional lighting, backdrops, etc. that we can setup at your home, business, or indoor location of your choice.

Behind the Lens

Chuck has lived in Florida since the age of 5. He delved into photography as an amateur in 1993 using 35mm film SLRs. As his skills increased, his artform also evolved into the modern digital photography era. A talented professional, Chuck provides his clients with imagery that genuinely captures the beauty and essence of his subjects.

In 1994, Chuck graduated from the University of South Florida (USF -Tampa campus) with a Bachelors degree in Political Science (BA). Since graduation, he’s held several professional positions including that of probation officer, credit manager, Senate Aide, and is currently a program manager in an educational nonprofit organization. He also attended graduate school at USF (GO BULLS!!!) and obtained his Masters of Public Administration (MPA) degree.

In addition to photography, he enjoys spending time with family (“married with children” – need I say more?), reading, martial arts, athletics, strategic wargaming, video gaming (I do NOT enjoy getting WHOOPED by my kids in most video games, however…I do have SOME pride left! LOL), and politics.

Photography Experience

PhotoActive is a Tampa Bay based photography company owned and operated by photographer, Chuck Jackson, since 2004. Chuck has been an avid photographer for more than 18 years. He is a gifted wedding photographer routinely creating the striking images that fill his online image galleries. He tremendously enjoys special event, portrait, glamour, and fashion photography and is well respected for his skills in these areas, as well. Other significant photographic interests include commercial photography.

Chuck uses professional NIKON digital cameras and can easily provide clients with images on CD/DVD as well as prints. He is also a skilled photo editor and will make you look your best.
